iVike - Introduction

Hello guys!

 

Since FirstToLeave (TimeToLeave) has taken quite a bit of his time out to develop a pretty awesome looking forum I figured I would take a good amount of time to introduce myself. I started OSRS back when I was a little 12-14 year old back when probably most of you had as well. My IRL friend Devon got me into the game, and I developed a passion for it. I remember back when him and his grandmother (upper 50s at the time) would play this game and when they helped me create my account, we all played together. Obviously, the game took a turn for a little while as it rapidly turned into RS3. Once the more advanced graphics and stuff come into-play I fell off the game as probably most of you had as well. I moved to RSPS’s and even helped develop some for a little while. We made some good progress, but we never ended up with a good player base so each time it become discouraging. I was thrilled when I heard OSRS was being re-developed as a secondary game to the new RuneScape.

 

Now being nearly 26, the nostalgia from OSRS gameplay still gives me goosebumps. I was actively playing my account for a while (mostly training skills); however, I have begun to get a little lazy and G.E. bank stand a lot more now. I met FirstToLeave while bank standing one day, and he proposed this OSRS community to me. For me, I believe this OSRS community will help me get back on my feet and enjoying OSRS game content. Stuff I can do with groups of people instead of just myself.

 

Outside of OSRS I own a few businesses which generate a nice little bit of income. I am able to buy bonds directly from OSRS frequently as well as sell them for gold for people who may be in need. If you are in need of a bond/gold I may be able to help you. I DO NOT like people who try to play me for my kindness, those who do end up on my forever ignored list.

 

You will frequently see me in-game bank standing in world 301 until we, as a community, get some events and gameplay setup to do fun in-game stuff together. I look forward to where this community goes and meeting a variety of new players. Let's all remember to keep that toxic 301/302 GE energy OUT of this community .

Welcome to the site Vike. Its nice to see my staff participating in it. Helps me out a lot with showing its an active site. Hopefully we can get some more folks to use it. Can’t force anyone though. Anyways, good intro!
